Had a fantastic time at this cozy spot! The full English breakfast was generous and perfectly cooked. My room had a comfy bed and a powerful shower. The hosts were super accommodating and even welcomed my dog with a biscuit. Highly recommend this place! 🐾

dusty cobwebs

unacceptable treatment

the hosts were supposedly friendly, but I certainly didn’t feel like a valued guest. the few dusty cobwebs in my Large Double Room were utterly unacceptable. also, with such a remote location, I truly expected a complimentary snack or even a larger TV to help pass the time, but alas, no special treatment here. I just couldn’t overlook these aspects.

We had a wonderful visit to Coniston Water, where we loved the picturesque views while spending time on a motorboat with the kids. Our sister joined, making it a memorable family adventure filled with laughter and stunning scenery!
